Game developer · Creative director · Producer

Mike Meaden.

I make games, help teams make games,
and talk about what we learn along the way.

I’m based in Manchester, with 15 years in game development. My work has taken me from Star Citizen and Forza Horizon to independent studios, original ideas and small experiments of my own.

A soft spot for old games

Disruptor Recomp

I like finding out how older games work, then seeing what else they can do. Lately, that’s meant bringing a favourite PlayStation shooter to PC.

About the project

Away from the desk

Sharing the useful bits.

I speak about making games, leading teams and finding a healthy balance between process and creativity. I also mentor people entering the industry and help with portfolio reviews.
